ADZ – Green Youth Malta

Posted on 16 May 2004

As part of the FYEG migration campaign, ADZ organised a seminar about the detention policy chaired by our spokesperson, Matthew Vella. On the panel, we invited a representative from the three political parties, plus other stakeholders to debate the subject. Various representative of NGOs including the National Youth Council, JEF and Amnesty International where present. The seminar was a great success! The follow up to this seminar is the white paper which is being drafted and also the press releases issued.

Natasha Turner and Chris Grech have just returned to Malta after they participated on behalf of ADZ in an exchange in Thessaloniki, Greece ‘Though Games we communicate’

Joanne Bugeja, our female spokesperson is running for the local council elections – she is an energetic, enthusiastic and a very capable person and we are all very proud of her! We are all behind you Jo!

ADZ have started ‘Cassola on Tour’ as part of the campaign for the European parliament elections. Every Sunday we are going around towns and villages, setting up our stand and distributing leaflets and talking to people and promoting our candidate Arnold Cassola.
