Eleanor Morrissey: “At FYEG, we have been advocating for a system change”

Posted on 16 October 2020

In an interview with the Ecosprinter, Eleanor Morrissey, Co-Spokesperson of the Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG), answered questions ranging from her ideas on how to make green movements more inclusive, organize events despite the Covid-19 pandemic, to the importance of system change.

Besides being the co-spokesperson for FYEG, Eleanor Morrissey is working for a health NGO federation on communications and policies. In her advocating work, she is driven by eco-socialism, feminism, and human rights.

The interview was conducted in September 2020 by Manon Maalouli. She is a member of the editorial board of the Ecosprinter, a digital organizer at WeMove Europe and a community manager at the French-speaking Belgian green party Ecolo.
