Gülce Yeniev: “Stop institutionalized quarrels and hatreds and build up solidarity”

In an interview with the Ecosprinter, Gülce Yeniev, a member of the Executive Committee of the Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG), answered questions ranging from the connections of economic security and environmental protection, how to make FYEG even more feminist as an organization, to green politics in Turkey.

Before becoming a member of the Executive Committee of FYEG, Gülce was member of the Executive Committee of the Turkish Young Greens (Genç Yeşiller) and is currently working on the establishment of a new green party in Turkey. She holds a degree in political science and economics.


The interview was conducted in September 2020 by Manon Maalouli. She is a member of the editorial board of the Ecosprinter, a digital organizer at WeMove Europe and community manager at the French-speaking Belgian green party Ecolo.
