Mina Tolu: “Be brave, be bold, say things that no one else is saying.”

In an interview with the Ecosprinter, Mina Tolu, Co-spokesperson for the Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG), answered questions ranging from their visions for European policies, their projects for their mandate, to their ideas to make FYEG even more inclusive as an organization.

Mina are a trans, queer, and feminist activist with a yearlong experience in communication campaigns. Mina worked for several LGBTQI organizations on the national and the European level. They are based in Malta, where they were a candidate for the 2019 election to the European Parliament.


The interview was conducted in October 2020 by Robin Ehl. He is a member of the editorial board of the Ecosprinter, part of the board of the French Young Greens in the Île-de-France region and a master’s student at Sorbonne Nouvelle University.
