Wanja Kaufmann: “We need to be active critics both on the barricades and even more important in the media and in parliament.”

Posted on 8 October 2020

In an interview with the Ecosprinter, Wanja Kaufmann, a member of the Executive Committee of the Federation of Young European Greens (FYEG), answered questions ranging from her visions for European policies, her projects for her mandate, to her ideas to make FYEG even more feminist as an organization.

Wanja Kaufmann has been active in the Green movement for ten years and was for example international secretary of the Swedish Young Greens (Grön Ungdom). She is studying humanitarian action and is working for Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.

The interview was conducted in September 2020 by Robin Ehl. He is a member of the editorial board of the Ecosprinter, part of the board of the French Young Greens in the Île-de-France region, and a master’s student at Sorbonne Nouvelle University.
