Vihreät nuoret ja opiskelijat (ViNO), or Finnish Young Greens and Students is doing well. The board of ViNO changed in spring, and the new board is now preparing a new set of rules and better network of local groups to make our organisation even more democratic. ViNO’s special character and tight connections with grassroot organisations are still meant to be saved. The new board is active and tries to educate itself. For example in the beginning of November board will make an excursion with the Green party board to European Parliament in Brussels. Basic activies of the organisation remain mostly unchanged; Local groups around Finland organise different kind of seminars, actions and meetings. ViNO is going to participate in the common EU election campaign and will be active in elections on national level, too.
